A Lunch for Amy

Amy threw a beautiful luncheon for a bunch of friends and family for her 50th birthday.  It was lovely and the day couldn't be beat.

It was great to celebrate a great sister.

Thai Lunch

I got to have lunch with these ladies.  The best thing is that Melanie is from Thailand so she knows all of the best foods to order.  I love me some That food!

Working on a Project

Zaron has been investing in welding equipment and other things.  The kids have been working on things off and on with him.  Charlotte wanted to make a staff with a blade and of course Zaron was on board for that!  They had fun working together on it, and Charlotte especially loved playing with all of dad's new gear!

Climbing

We decided that we wanted to have a little fun doing some rock climbing with ropes.  So we grabbed some rope and went to a rock climbing place.  However, we quickly learned that we should probably have some actual gear to do that, so we just went to the top and played around with ropes there.  It was fun, but next time we're gonna have some real gear and tackle that rock face!

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we went to visit Pam's grave.  She had a brand new headstone.  It was nice to remember her that day.  She was a special part of our family. The kids loved it too because they were giving out free ice cream at the cemetery.

Then we went up to Zaron's dad's grave.  It was nice to spend a little time there.

Family Pickleball

We have been having so much fun playing pickleball with Grandma's paddles that we got our own.  We had a fun family pickleball evening when the weather was nice.  Then we went to the field and played around a bit with the giant glider plane.  Nice, relaxing evening together.

Visitor

We often get deer visiting our yard.  But this one just hung out there for a long time and was so close to me and didn't get scared at all. What a neat creature, but he was eating all of the flowers off my plant.

Bunnies!

The kids love to go to Quinae's house to see the baby bunnies. They sure are cute!

Corban Track

They had a super short season for track this year.  But it was great for the kids to be back on the field again.  Corban had a good season.  He ran a 5:20 mile!  He also ran the two mile this year.  What a tough race!

Corban also had some fans come and see him run a few times.  This was on a very hot spring day.

Girls Night

The boys went to Fathers and Sons campout so we had a girl's night together.  We went out and played pickleball with Grandma.

We had dinner and watched a movie after.  The next morning we were treated to Chuck's donuts from Morgan.  He was so nice to think about us.

Then the girls both had soccer games.  It was nice to hang out as girls!

The boys had a great time at their campout too.  No pictures, but I know they love hanging out with the guys and eating lots of junk food.

Random happenings

Sometimes I like to capture the random happenings around our house.

Temple Trip

The temple finally opened up for proxy baptisms, so we took the opportunity to get Charlotte there for the first time.  It was so lovely.  Corban did the baptizing and we got to have the grandparents come along.  It was so great to be in the temple again after not being able to go.

Sounders Game

The girls got free tickets to see a Sounders game through their club soccer team, so of course we needed to catch a game this summer. It was...
