Veteran's Day

Eleanor had a part in the Veteran's Day assembly this year.  She did a great job!

Lazy Bailey

Bailey gets really lazy and snuggly in the fall. She looks pretty cute.

Magic

Eleanor has been having fun playing with Corban's magic kit. She is getting good at doing the tricks!

Loi Krathong

The Activity Day girls make floating flower arrangements to celebrate the Thai holiday Loi Krathong. Eleanor's turned out really lovely, and she was excited to light the candle and float it in the bathtub.

Corban Eagle Scout

Corban finally finished up his Eagle Scout award. He just barely made it in time. He had lots of great people support him along the way and it was nice that he achieved that. Very proud of him!

Howard wanted him to do a big photoshoot. He scouted out locations with Eagles. Corban was a very good sport about it. And some of the pictures turned out pretty great!

Amish Country

We drove through Amish country and it was really interesting. We saw lots of buggies and we really enjoyed the store there. They had the most interesting flavored taffy.  A unique experience!

That brought our trip to its end. We had a fantastic time together and saw lots of amazing things.

Kirtland, OH

We went to visit Kirtland, OH as our next stop. Of course it was amazing to see the Kirtland temple and be able to take a tour of it and see the visitors center.

We also visited the Newel K. Whitney Store, where the school of the prophets was held.

We also saw the sawmill and spent some time at the visitors center and playing in the leaves out front.

The kids also played a little king of the hill.

Niagara Falls

Since we added some time onto our trip, we ended up getting to Niagara Falls in the evening. Wow, what a beautiful place, all lit up and misty and powerful.

The next morning, I took those that wanted to go on the Maid of the Mist. Zaron and Liam decided to stay at the hotel and sleep and Corban, Charlotte, Eleanor and I went on the boat. I have always wanted to do that, and it certainly did not disappoint. We got super wet, it was windy, and it was really fun.
