The kids participated in the youth car wash to earn money for their summer activities. I think it was a success!

Sweet Bailey
Bailey was looking extra cute all snuggled up with a blanket with her chin resting on the armrest. A picture was definitely required!

Climbing
The Whiteakers were so nice to take us up rock climbing one day. The kids had been wanting to do that for a long time, but we didn't have the gear. They had everything we needed and it was so fun to see each of the kids go up there. Fun as a mom to see your kids try something new.
We had to hike in to the location and it was a beautiful day for a hike.
Unfortunately, I had eaten something that didn't agree with me, so I wasn't feeling well. But I had a great time anyway! Thanks Whiteakers!

National Anthem
Kaybrie was singing the national anthem at the Mariner's game and Corom and Wendy weren't able to be there, so Liam and I went to cheer her on. They sounded amazing and it was fun to see her on that big stage. Way to go Kaybrie!
Jazz gig
It was tough because the next day Corban had a Jazz band gig at the farmer's market. It was only a few hours after he got back from the party. They sounded great, but I was tired, and I'm sure he was too. I always love to hear Corban perform though.

After Graduation Festivities
There was lots of celebrating after the graduation ceremony. Grandma and Grandpa took us all out to lunch at Tapatios. Of course Corban got to wear the sombrero as the guest of honor.
Later that night, he went to the senior all night party with his fellow graduates. There was quite a group of them. And I got to go along as a chaperone. I didn't like having to do the pat downs before the party, but I didn't mind hanging out and trying to stay out of Corban's way so he could enjoy being there with his friends.
They went to several different locations, and by the time about 3am rolled around, many of the kids were asleep on the floor. It was a good night though and a great way to celebrate. It went really smoothly from a chaperone's perspective!
Corban's Graduation
We had a little family party for Corban's graduation on the Saturday before. We had some great food, I made some little decorations, and Grandma presented him with his quilt that she made. Quinae's family also brought bunnies which were of course a huge hit. We had a fun time and it was low key, which is how he wanted it.
The grandparents came with us to graduation and others watched it online. It was great because he got to sit in the front and was one of the first ones called because he was an Oliver M. Hazen award recipient. It was a nice ceremony, and of course my favorite was when they had the bagpiper lead the graduates in to the arena. After, of course there were lots of congrats all around and pictures and connecting with friends for Corban.
Liam got to play in the orchestra and they sounded great.
