Temple Day

Charlotte got to visit the temple grounds with the young women. What a great group of girls! I'm thankful for these leaders too!

Henry Moses with Eleanor's Soccer Team

Eleanor's team had a bonding activity at Henry Moses waterpark. She of course had a fantastic time swimming with her friends.

After swimming, the Hydes got out their shaved ice machine and made shaved ice for everyone. It was a huge hit!

Camping at Twin Harbors

We went camping with a bunch of friends from the ward at Twin Harbors campground. There were a lot of us and we basically overtook most of the loop of the campground. The camping was pretty open, but it worked for our group. And it was right next to the beach which was awesome. Bailey was certainly a hit among the kids and she was so, so patient. She got overwhelmed a few times, but mostly she tolerated it well. The kids had fun trying skim boarding for the first time on the beach. And of course boogie boarding.

We went to see the lighthouse which was cool.

The kids put glow sticks on and danced to "Run Away From Love" I am amazed even the little girls knew the dance.

Camilla and Eleanor helped me make a fun mermaid sculpture. Of course we had to do a complete photo shoot after. I think she turned out really well though.

We also ran across this cool beached ship on the beach. Pretty neat!

It was a great weekend, and nice to get away to a beautiful place with amazing friends.

Bailey Burrito

Eleanor decided to sit in the sleeping bag with Bailey. Bailey actually looks pretty content to be there with Eleanor. Pretty cute!

For the Presidency

I decided to make a small version of the camp wall hanging for each of the camp presidency as a thank you for all of their hard work. They did such a great job. So, for back to camp night I gave each of them one for their room. Hopefully they liked them!

Corban's Priesthood Ordination

Corban was ordained to the Melchizedek Priesthood. It was a wonderful time. The grandparents were there and it was just such a wonderful day. I am so very proud of the man that Corban has become.

Corban's Mission Call

Corban got his mission call! Just about a week after he submitted his papers. I wasn't expecting it to come so soon, but he was ready! It was exciting to have everyone over to hear where he was going. Some of his friends came too. People also joined online. And he is going to BRAZIL - Porto Alegre North mission. Leaving in November. Wow, so exciting!

Water Polo

Charlotte played water polo again this year. She played amazingly and was a real asset to the team. I had fun taking some action shots of her and her team. The boys are getting to be pretty aggressive now, and Charlotte keeps right up with them and doesn't back down. I'm proud of her!
